Καινούργιο challenge blog για paper arts

Η έκπληξη που σας έλεγα, είναι γεγονός.

Μαζί με μερικές από τις πιο ταλαντούχες Ελληνίδες scrappers και journalers, ξεκινήσαμε ένα καινούργιο challenge blog, όπου όλοι όσοι αγαπούν τα paper crafts , θα μπορούν να παίξουν μαζί μας!

Επίσης, κάθε μήνα θα ανεβάζουμε tutorials, που θα βοηθήσουν και τους καινούργιους της παρέας μας αλλά και τους πιο έμπειρους!

Ελάτε να παίξουμε!!!! Είτε κάνετε scrapbooking, είτε κάρτες, είτε art journaling, mixed media ή altered items, έχουμε ένα challenge για εσάς!!!

Art journal page and ATC's

Although, my hands are full with making books and journals, I always find some excuse to play a little. 

Yesterday night, instead of finishing the journal I have to deliver, I played with my acrylics. As a result, I made two ATC's and a journal page. Not bad - what do you think?

These ATC's are for a FB friend in Belfast - Ireland. I hope she will love them.

And my contribution to a travelling journal, originated by my friend Eleni , that  will travel and be filled with art from friends from every region of Greece. It came to my hands only yesterday afternoon, but I was so inspired from the art I saw inside, that I made my own page in a glimpse of a second

A fairly simple one -you may think - it is not my usual style with tons of layers etc. Well, seeing this fabulus artsy journal, I remembered why I hate moleskins so much. The pages are very thin- only for sketching with dry media (even this I doubt)- and the book has already fallen apart. Loose pages, unglued spine- the bookmaker's worse nightmare.These books are brilliant when you buy them, but I think that they are for decorative purposes only and not for actually using them. What a pity.

 I have to go now and finish my commissioned journal or else I will not be able to leave for my break in Crete. Have a good time and keep arting!
