Lost tribe

As soon as I saw Andy's new technique, I knew that it was perfect for the book I had in mind. I had a large tibetan jade pendant of a horse surrounded by two dragons , and I wanted to use it to create the artifact book of a lost jungle tribe.




When the tribe was hit by the inexplicable curse, and people began to die one by one, the book was placed above the altar of the temple of the horse. The last few of the tribe were gathered around it, in a vain effort to protect themselves. But alas, the moment came when the last tribesman realised that his time had come. He tried to touch the sacred book but he had no strength left. He offered a prayer and closed his eyes.

Years and centuries have passed and the jungle reclaimed the temple. But the altar stood intact carrying the sacred book. The book was almost alive as moss had grown on its cover. But the sacred symbols were still visible and the intricate golden details proved the book for what it was.

The explorer wanted to touch it, but he was intimidated by the power that the book radiated.
