It seems that the town is empty, no traffic, no queues, nothing. Even my DD is missing - gone in a mountain camp!
Don't you think that this is the perfect time for preserving the summer aromas for the coming winter? So here I am full in preserving! I canned 40 kilos of delicious August tomatoes (54 jars), sundried pommodoria (10 jars), made madagaskar vanilla extract in vodka anf tsipouro (8 bottles), made two flavors of marmalade (strawberry and apricot), and bought enough honey to last a year (right from the producer in Chalkidiki). Tommorrow I will can red sweet Florina peppers and the I will make some liquors and aromatic olive oils.
Working full time huh? Well it is worth it. Everytime I open a jar, I smell and taste summer aromas and prepare healthy foods. (OK, Ok Yes, I like cooking!)
Do not think that I cook only. I am binding books, organise workshops, playing in my art journal etc etc
